We have been serving the local community since 1844.  While rooted in rich tradition, we look forward to the future and eagerly anticipate new ways in which God will lead our diverse ministry.

Worship and Christian Education

Open and affirming community: Zoar welcomes everyone, regardless of who they are or where they are on life’s journey.

Support of the 5 for 5 Illinois South Conference Mission Initiatives:                     "Our Church's Wider Mission Basic Support", "One Great Hour of Sharing", "Strengthen the Church", "Neighbors in Need", and "The Christmas Fund".

Worship and Christian Education:                                                                        Sunday Morning Worship – 10:00 a.m.                                                                            Sunday School – 10:20 a.m.                                                                                                Vacation Bible School  -  Annually in June                                                                        Bible Study- Wednesday, 7:00 pm, (Fellowship Hall and via ZOOM)                            Holy week and Seasonal services    

Mission Outreach:                                                                                                    Support is provided to various local and global mission agencies such as:  Kindercottage, Dubois Center, House of Neighborly Service, Illinois South Church Conference, Waterloo Area Church's Help Network, and Hoyleton Ministries.  We work with local churches on the "Backpacks of Food" to provide food to needy students in our County's school system.

Fellowship:   Youth Activities,  Dubois Church Camp,  Adult Fellowship Activities,   Annual events such as: Fish Fry, BBQ, Trivia Night, Car Show, Yard Sale.

Caring Ministry:   Shut-in Visitation,  Parish Health Ministry
